The Story

Upon entering into the contemplative state of mind, a figure stares within - into the soul where the mind and heart meets with everything in between.

It is like peering into a maze.

In this composition, the maze is depicted as a plethora of lines and dots. They symbolize the fundamental building blocks of language creation, yet to be orchestrated into a meaningful piece.

In this chaotic space, I sit and ponder on the meaning these lines and dots could carry — to seek out my truth and coax it into my day-to-day doings.

When my paintbrush bid farewell to the canvas,

the piece breathes on its own…
