Growing up in multi-cultural Malaysia, embracing diversity is a way of life.

I grew up learning, understanding, respecting and embracing the different perspectives moulded by traditions, religions and individual explorations.

Even as an individual, my worldview has changed over the years.

This composition represents both the individual and collective experiences.

Firstly, the changes in perspective an individual goes through with time.

And secondly, the multitude of individual perspectives that exist in and as a community.

The merging of the 'Sun and Moon’ elements as the eye’s pupil, represents the idea of time or timelessness.

These eyes symbolize the gateways that exist around us and within ourselves.
